Overview

Emily, MN has not adopted MN State Building Codes. However, § 152.008 (A) (Building Standards) requires all structures and appurtenances to be constructed in accordance with the MN State Building Code. The city of Emily does not administer or enforce it. (see page 39 of pdf document).

Emily, MN City Code § 152.158 (A) (Zoning Permits) mandates a zoning permit for all new structures, change in structure dimensions, structural components, and change in the number of bedrooms. (See  pages 175-176 of pdf document).
